Egremont is quietly chic and perfectly situated at the base of the Southern Berkshires. Comprised of two distinct settlements, North Egremont & South Egremont, both have earned reputations for their highly regarded restaurants, antique shops, and inns. Kenver LTD is situated in the heart of South Egremont is housed in the beautiful brick building that was once the old stagecoach shop between Albany, NY & Hartford, CT. This building continues to offer historic appeal and warm cider and wood-burning fireplaces while also offering high-quality winter sports equipment, apparel, and rentals that nicely complement Catamount Ski Mountain, which is only minutes away.

French Park is an Egremont centerpiece, offering ball fields, picnic areas, tennis, basketball and volleyball courts, horseshoe pits, hiking and a horse ring and trails, and year-round community events. Located on Baldwin Hill Road North in Egremont. Once a bustling Berkshire resort in the 1950s, “Jug End” is known for its gorgeous vistas and fabulous hiking. A portion of the Appalachian Trail passes through Jug End – well worth the hike!

Mom’s Country Cafe is the local hotspot.  Fabulous food and great conversation, filled every day of the week, Mom’s is the place to go to be “in the know.” Blue Rider Stables is a non-profit organization that offers therapeutic, holistic horseback riding as well as several family-friendly events and functions throughout the year that welcome the entire community. The Egremont Public Library is shared by the entire community, including the students who attend Egremont School – as with all small towns, a community staple.

North Egremont is a much smaller village with a tight-knit community that proudly embraces its tranquil reputation just minutes west of Great Barrington, MA.  The Old Egremont Country Store is a North Egremont staple – a little bit of everything and always a welcoming smile.
